BSPS Area 1B hold regular young judges training sessions together with yard visits and talks. Everyone is very welcome to attend any of these sessions which are free of charge for BSPS 1B members. In the young judge’s sessions, we cover both Heritage & Plaited ponies, and the sessions are fun, interactive, and informative.
Training can be attended by BSPS 1B members of any age, however the team  competition which takes place at the BSPS Summer Championships consists of 3 competitors is only open to members aged 12 to 21 , the individual competition is open to members aged 18-24.
The training focuses on Way of Going, Conformation and Rules and the sessions culminate in the selection of the teams and individuals to represent the area at the BSPS Summer Championship show.
Don’t worry if you are not interested in entering the competition everyone is welcome to come along and learn. However, if you are interested in team or individual selection, we require you to attend a minimum of 4 sessions.
